SIMPLEtheatre is run by Nicole Rose and Katharine Williams, who started the company in 2005. There are three branches to SIMPLEtheatre - the school, the amateur dramatics company and a professional touring company.

Nicole and Katharine

Nicole is a Drama graduate and writer, as well as being a prolific amateur actress. Katharine is a professional actor and singer, who has also taught singing for the past 15 years. An award winner herself, Katharine has also seen several of her students go on to careers in TV and on the stage. Joining forces, Nicole and Katharine have brought their considerable contacts and experience to SIMPLEtheatre, creating a very strong and versatile company.

	The three separate strands of SIMPLEtheatre have been designed to work together to make a vibrant performing arts company. The theatre school feeds naturally into the amateur dramatics company, which in turn throws up some of the brightest new performers looking for work on the professional stage.
